Precision Technology WIESEL™ linear drive units guarantee the optimum solution of technology and economy for every drive task due to their high loads and moments. Precision Technology WIESEL™ mechanical linear drive units have played a leading part in plant engineering for many years thanks to their innovative design details. With its comprehensive product range, Precision Technology has the right linear drive unit in the right size for every application. All our linear drive units have a Precision Technology high-precision ball screw or toothed belt drive. The different types and sizes can be combined with customer supplied servo motors and servo amplifiers to implement single and multiple axis systems. The high performance and modular design make it possible to replace a large number of individual components, thus permitting modular systems with lower costs and shorter lead times. All of our products can be modified for application in your system. The rod-style actuators provided by Precision Technology are available with motor mounts and gearboxes to attach with customer provided AC, stepper, servo, or DC motors. Precision Technology offers both guided and non-guided versions of rod style actuators. The Precision Technology products handle heavy thrust loads up to 8.5 tons with strokes up to 78 in., speeds to 60 ips in several sizes and models, and repeatability to 0.0008 in.
Precision Technology Linear Tables are linear units that can be easily controlled manually or commanded by CNC. Due to their lightness and ease of application they are very useful elements for mechanization and handling in automated and robotic systems. In combination with a rotary device a fourth axis for radial positioning can be provided.
All Precision Technology’s Linear Tables are equipped with high precision recirculating ball guideways allowing smooth and low noise operation. Likewise, depending on the positioning tolerance and travel speed, high precision rolled or ground ball screws can be incorporated.
These Linear Tables are modular elements that can be assembled on one, two or three axes. This universal option offers a simple solution to most applications, allowing at the same time the transfer of heavy loads in an optimum way due to its guiding system.
